Germany-based photographer Marina Weishaupt shares beautiful views after a short night and a long car ride we arrived at Stokksnes beach right underneath Mount Vestrahorn.
Los Angeles-based artist Colin Roberts began creating pillows out of perspex, or plexiglass, in 2008. The solid imitations of typically plush objects are shaped to be dented and slumped which presents the illusion of softness despite their stiff composition.

I didn’t know Mr. T pityed fool’s that weren’t woke, but that’s awesome. #respect
“I think about my father being called ‘boy’, my uncle being called ‘boy’, my brother, coming back from Vietnam and being called ‘boy’. So I questioned myself:“What does a black man have to do before he’s given the respect as a man?” So when I was 18 years old, when I was old enough to fight and die for my country, old enough to drink, old enough to vote, I said I was old enough to be called a man. I self-ordained myself Mr. T so the first word out of everybody’s mouth is “Mr.” That’s a sign of respect that my father didn’t get, that my brother didn’t get, that my mother didn’t get.“
Yet missing from this fanfare was the inconvenient fact that by
ditching plastic straws, Starbucks will actually be increasing its plastic use.
As it turns out, the new nitro lids that Starbucks is leaning on to replace
straws are made up of more plastic than the company’s current lid/straw
combination.
Right now, Starbucks patrons are topping most of their cold drinks
with either 3.23 grams or 3.55 grams of plastic product, depending on whether
they pair their lid with a small or large straw. The new nitro lids meanwhile
weigh either 3.55 or 4.11 grams, depending again on lid size.
